I came across these beautiful still shots from a random short film on a random facebook page that intrigued me enough to click the link—and I was so pleased I did. Director Diane Lac and her team made this truly insane short film that left me wanting more. In just a bite sized amount of time, the film takes you through many different layers from inner conflict to an absurd set design to distorted, spinning cinematography and editing. The first time I watched this short I was filled with so much joy to see an insane amount of creativity done in under just a few minutes with limited budget and resources. In conclusion, Diane Lac and her entire team are visionaries and I cannot wait to see what else she comes up with. (P.S. she’s also an incredible photographer.)
I am leaving links directly to the short film via vimeo, Diane Lac’s personal post on instagram, her feature on NOWNESS Shorts, and the original facebook post that caught my attention, and
